It was a casual Beverly Hills wine tasting event at Kyle by Alene Too featuring White Girl Rosé and Babe Rosé with bubbles. A couple of my girlfriends and I went and had a blast. Because you know, we are so basic. I do love myself a glass of rosé- add some bubbles + the Housewives and call it heaven. I love loved the chandelier with the dripping roses! They were serving the rosé with these massive straws (long enough to pop right in a whole bottle of wine if you wanted to) that said "you're basic" on them. The packaging and branding on this rosé just calls to me, I kinda love it. They were filming for the new season of Beverly Hills Housewives and being a Bravo housewives fan I was secretly freaking out inside. I love all these ladies on the show and it was fun getting to meet them in person. LVP is my fav- sadly I have no pictures to show for it but she was there with Ken. She is such a lady boss and I admire her! Plus her love for animals makes me so happy. What I would give to go to Villa Rosa and play with Rumpy- heart eyes x a million. Outfit details below(excuse the iPhone pics!). xx

Thanks for having us Kyle! xoxox

I had a wedding work weekend in Newport Beach recently so I took advantage and took some photos while we were there :) I am loving burgundy right now and this bell sleeve romper caught my eye. It is from Target & under $30! It's perfect for the weather right now because it is September (almost October) and still a million degrees out. I want it to be fall weather so badly that I'm trying to incorporate fall into my wardrobe slowly but surely. These shoes are super cute but take incredible patients to put on! They lace up and also zip in the back. I was so disappointed because they gave me a big blister on my left heel (I'm really hoping it's because they are new and just need to be broken in more!) I love the camel color and they are suede. Perfect fall flats. My crossbody is also from Target ;) Love that place!

I'm sure a lot of you saw my post on Instagram that I had gotten a few things from Nurse Jamie. One of the items I got was her Beauty Bear Age Delay Pillow. I thought I'd give you guys a review! First off, this product sounds a little gimmicky- a $70 pillow that delays aging...really- who's going to spend their money on that? Welp- me! I thought it sounded kind of amazing and wanted to give it a try. I love Nurse Jamie's whole concept. She's a total boss babe and is super successful with her company. She probably doesn't remember me but, I had the pleasure of working on her wedding way back when. I was just starting out interning for a wedding planner. I remember them having a B-12 shot cart at their wedding for their guests ha! It was a beautiful wedding over looking the Pacific Ocean. Now years later I'm obsessed with her product range and love Beauty Park. If you've never heard of Beauty Park and "Nurse Jamie" you should totally look her up! She owns this beautiful medical spa in Santa Monica and she also has a product line. You can go to the Beauty Park website here and her products can be found here.

The Beauty Bear comes in a few different colors- her signature purple, black, white, and leopard. I got the leopard one. It is a U-shaped pillow which cradles your neck and the side of your face when sleeping. This pillow fights wrinkles while you sleep. I have not woken up with sleep lines on my face since sleeping with the Beauty Bear. The pillow has a satin pillow case which is gentle on your skin and really good for your hair. Satin pillow cases are said to reduce frizzing and prolong your hair styles. I find this pillow is extra comfy to watch TV with - you'll find me laying down right before bed with my neck positioned perfectly in this pillow catching up on The Real Housewives ;) I would imagine the Beauty Bear is also really ideal for plane travel. It's pretty small and compact. The only thing I would say I would change is I would have the U on each end of the pillow. I flip flop when I sleep and if I flip to the other side (without also flipping the beauty bear) then my face is no longer placed right in that U shape to prevent those wrinkles! I continue to sleep with the Beauty Bear at night and consider it a prize possession. I try to keep it out of reach of my pup so it stays extra clean! It is convenient because she does sell the pillow cases separate so you can replace after awhile. You should pick one up for yourself! They offer 10% off if you sign up for their mailing list.

Fav Lip Balms

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 //

Happy Makeup Monday! I've linked above all of my favorite lip balms. Winter is coming and these will help protect your lips from feeling dry and cracking. I always always apply lip balm in the evening before bed and in the morning when I wake up. I've found that Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Mask is a wonderful lip treatment to sleep in, this is the one I usually apply before bed. It is a thick lip mask that helps to replenish moisture in your lips. You need the smallest amount to cover all of your lips, this product lasts for a good amount of time. It smells of a hint of vanilla, I have the original no color agave lip mask. My favorite balm to apply in the morning is Glossier's balm dot com. It isn't quite as thick as the agave lip mask but it still is thick enough to provide your lips with plenty of nourishment. I have the unscented balm- it does come in a few scents including rose, mint, cherry, and coconut. Balm dot com in the morning and the agave lip mask in the evening have completely saved my lips. If you like wearing a lot of liquid lipsticks, balms like these will be very soothing to your lips.

I really enjoy Aquaphor's lip repair and Vaseline's lip therapy for some affordable drugstore options. The packaging on Vaseline's lip therapy is so cute! It is a tiny version of Vaseline's original jelly. I love the Crème Brûlée and the Rose flavors. The rose treatment does have a hint of pink color to it when you apply it on your lips. Both of these treatments are very moisturizing and healing on your lips. Rose is an enjoyable scent to me so I really enjoy using the rose salve by C.O. Bigelow, which also tints your lips with a little pink when using. I like that it is in a pot- I often will just put my lips straight into the pot and avoid getting my fingers goopy with product ;) Finally if you enjoy mint you'll love Jack Black's Lip Balm in mint. It does come in other flavors as well but I love how cooling the mint feels on your lips. If I don't apply Bite's lip mask in the evening I'll apply Jack Blacks balm. It is thick and feels amazing on your lips. It is made with SPF so it is also good to wear during the day to protect your lips from the sun.

TANK // JEANS // SANDALS // CROSSBODY(available at The Best Little Hair House, Simi Valley CA) // SUNGLASSES // WATCH // TURQUOISE BANGLE (use code Jules20 FOR 20% off Ilymix :)  // BELT // LIPSTICK (Nude Creme)

I was so excited when I noticed this tank went on sale! I had it in my "cart" for a little while debating since it's not really summertime anymore but I'm so happy I got it. I love the denim mixed with the white stripes and how the sides are cut longer to hang down low. It is very comfortable on. I wear it with a sticky bra because a regular bra just wouldn't do with this cut. You could also wear it with a ban-do. This little fringe purse is a new favorite of mine. It is such a great size to carry around your essentials. It comes in black as well. I love the fringe for fall time! I don't have a link online to link for you for this purse but any locals can come by The Best Little Hair House and grab one ;) Mention you saw this post and receive 20% off!

Fall Makeup Must haves

I'm so excited for fall makeup trends. I loveee a dark vampy lip. Lime Crime Velvetine liquid lipsticks really do stay all day and are budge-proof. Wicked is the perfect deep wine red for fall. I've been stuck in an "Anastasia Beverly Hills" brow products only for my brows but I recently saw Smashbox brow tech shaping powder and I've been dying to try it out. Has anyone tried it?! Leave your thoughts below in the comments for me ;) One of my favorite highlighters is Becca's champagne pop. It is the perfect golden glow on your cheeks. Throw on some gold highlight and a deep red lip and call it a perfect Fall makeup day! During fall time I love a full coverage foundation. If you are looking for a new full coverage foundation I recommend Estée Lauder Double Wear, it says it is a "medium coverage" but I really feel like it is full. The coverage lasts all day and is a semi-matte finish. I like applying this foundation with a BeatuyBlender for a more natural look. Olive green is also one of my favorite colors to wear during fall. The color of the Urban Decay Glide on eyeliner is so pretty! This is the color Mildew...the name doesn't sound so pretty ha!

JEANS // BLACK TANK // PLEATHER CAP (available for purchase at The Best Little Hair House, CA) // TORY // RAY BANS // SHOES (purchased at Pegasus Fashion Lounge awhile back // similar HERE so cute and on sale currently!) // LIPSTICK -NYX Matte Lipstick in Sweet Pink

I felt very "undercover" in this all black outfit. This black pleather baseball cap is one of my favorite accessories at the moment. I love it for fall time. It's so easy to just throw on a hat and not have to worry about doing your hair, perfect for 2nd or 3rd day hair ;). I added some contrast to this look with a touch of camel. The shoes I'm wearing here were bought a while ago at a little boutique. I've linked some really cute sandal wedges below!

First of all, how cool is this place?! We shot at the Vasquez Rocks in Valencia and it was beautiful over there. So many awesome photo opts. This black rockstar dress from Indigo Arrow is the perfect summer-to-fall transition outfit. I love how it has the long sleeves and the lace detailing. It's under $40! These kind of outfits are my favorite because a cute dress doesn't require much thought to wear. It already looks like a cute outfit with one item. The skirt is fun to twirl around in too ;) I paired it with these knee high Steve Madden brown boots. They are PERFECT for fall and I'm so excited to be wearing them more. I'm wearing the color Chesnut Suede but they also come in Black Suede. The block heel is so comfy and easy to walk in. I would size up when ordering these- I got one size bigger than I usually get. Tall boots are always a struggle to get on and off but so worth it!
