Hi everyone! Last week I was MIA - life happens and weddings are definitely in full swing right now (for those who don't know, I am a wedding coordinator as well!) I'm back this week with Makeup Monday and sharing my favorite color correcting products. First up is Stila's One Step Correct. This is a serum that corrects skin tone and also helps to brighten. I love this because it has three different color correctors swirled into one product and when you pump the product all three come out so it makes for a quick and easy application. There is lavender to help brighten, green to correct redness, and peach to illuminate and diminish the appearance of sun spots. The product is super light weight and feels very moisturizing on. I use it as a primer to begin my makeup. For redness correcting, I also really enjoy Urban Decay's Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid. It is great for covering up right on the spot of red areas on your face. It has a flocked applicator to pick up just the right amount of product and applies onto the skin beautifully. It is very easy to blend in and it has just the right amount of pigment. For those on a budget and not looking to spend a lot on a color corrector for reducing redness- ELF HD lifting concealer in green works great. It is a little more pigmented than the Naked fluid but it blends into the skin really well and helps to reduce redness. Plus it's only $3!

Tarte's wipeout color correcting palette is also a product I've been enjoying lately. It is a cream correcting palette that comes with 6 correcting shades including; green, orange, two peach shades, yellow, and a warm brown. I use the orange the most out of this palette to counteract darkness under my eyes. I also will use the peach shades mixed together to help cover up any blemishes. The green shade in this palette is a little more white looking on the skin so I don't reach for it as much as the Naked color corrector. The packaging on this product is great because it has a large round mirror in it :)

Thanks for stopping by!
