Today I'm writing about NYX lip products. If you are looking for an affordable lip product these are them! First up is their Butter Gloss- I have four shades- Maple Blondie, Peaches & Cream, Cupcake, and Tiramisu (pictured below). These glosses are the perfect consistency - they are not too sticky. The pigment is juuuust enough for a gloss for me. I own the more pinky and peach tones because that's what I wear a lot and Tiramisu is nice to layer on top of a nude lipstick or even alone. The nice thing is you can wear all of these glosses alone or layered on top of another lipstick. The butter glosses feel really moisturizing on. Below I've pictured them each on my lips, I'm just wearing the gloss alone so you can see the pigment. These glosses are so affordable- they are available for just under $5! You can find them at your local target or Ulta. They are my favorite drug store lip gloss!
PEACHES & CREAM
Next up is NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream- I own the "Natural" one. This product is a lot thicker than the glosses. Sometimes it can apply a little patchy so I usually will layer it a few times for even coverage. I really like the color of it when I apply it. It's lighter on my lips than how it looks in the package. The Xtreme Shine Lip Cream is probably best described as a super hydrating and shiny liquid lipstick. It is easy to re-apply throughout the day and layer on top of itself.
XTREME SHINE LIP CREAM IN NATURAL
Lastly is NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. It is kind of right on the line between a gloss and a lipstick. It is super lightweight and feels very silky on. I have to layer it a few times before I get an even coverage with this product. I really enjoy Tokyo on my skin tone but Buenos Aires is a little too orangy for me. The Soft Matte lip cream comes in so many different shades. Even a purple or a blue, if you're feeling gutsy.
Thanks for stopping by!
