LOVE IS IN THE HAIR

I manage a hair salon so I'm around hair and beauty quite often. It was time for me to freshen up my locks. Noora Ahmad aka Hair by Noora worked her magic on my hair the other day. I asked to be blonder - I wanted a brighter beige-y blonde balayage. She gave me that! The last time I had my hair balayage'd fully was in November! It is absolutely crazy the amount of time you can go in between getting your hair done when you get your hair balayage'd. It grows out so soft. I used to be all over platinum blonde and was getting my hair done every 4 weeks (I'm naturally brunette) - so 5 months is quite a long time for me to go. I got toners in between to keep my hair looking fresh. Noora trimmed up my hair a bit to keep the ends looking healthy. She used a technique called "babylights" and also bleached the ends of my hair. She used a ton of Olaplex to keep the integrity of my hair (thaaank you!!).

The products pictured above are products I use on my hair at home and products Noora used on my hair before styling. Redken's One United Spray has recently and quickly become my go to leave in treatment for my hair. It is an all in one multi benefit hair treatment that improves manageability, protects, and helps with the beauty of hair.

I'm also obsessed with Moroccan Oil. Not only does it smell delicious but it also conditions your hair and adds shine. Finally, she used Kenra Platinum Blow-Dry Spray before blow drying and styling my hair. This seriously cuts my blow drying time in HALF- no joke it really is magic. It also provides protection from heat for my hair. I always use a heat protectant on my hair before using any kind of heat. Because of all the bleaching I've done to my hair - I use the best products I can find to protect my hair and keep it healthy. THIS wet brush is the best ever to detangle your hair - I use it every time I get out of the shower and my hair is wet. Never going back to a regular brush...
Thanks Noora for my hair :)

Thanks for stopping by!

xx,
Jules
